Little about the lovely Chopy...
Since Chopy was little she always like music and singing. She started singing in a coir in Heiloo in Holland. Sometimes they gave solo’s to Chopy. She won the first price at school at a singing contest and she used to sang on music performances at school. When she was 13 years she took singing lessons for 2 years and started taking keyboard lessons as well. When she was 16 years old she went to the Academy in Koln to start singing in Kurdish. Her first Kurdish performance was in a coir with Koma Berxwedan at a festival for approximately 100.000 people in a football stadiun. There, she learned a lot. Her first television performance was Shanasin. That was also at the age of 16. After this she did more television performances. Chopy’s songs are played on all the Kurdish TV stations such as KTV, Medya TV and Kurdsat. She also has concerts and other performances in Holland, Sweden, Germany, England, Belgium, USA and Canada. Chopy sings lots of Kurdish folklore songs and her CD is out now. She got lots of help from many good and lovely people that did their best to make this CD a special one.
The new album "Nawit Denem Zheno"...
Chopy released her new album. The album contains 13 songs all in Kurdish, and was published in Sweden, more than 40 artist was participated in that album, don't miss the chance of listing to here very aromatic lovely voice. Chopy new album contain songs in Badnani and Sorani and you can test Kurdish folklore in here very sweet song about karkouk which was writen by here father "Ehsan Fatah", my self I prepare the song "Hedi Hedi" very much that song I can say really full of passion... enjoy
